Privacy Policy

Last updated: at launch. Plain-language version below.

What we collect

Your email address, only if you type it into a form (the waitlist or the free recipe pack). We store it with the page you signed up from, your browser's user agent, and the referring URL — nothing else.

Basic analytics: pageviews and a small set of interaction events (for example: joining the waitlist, dismissing the app banner) via Google Analytics 4 and PostHog, if you're not blocking them. We don't run advertising trackers and there are no ads on this site, ever.

What we do with it

  • Email you when the app launches, and the occasional recipe drop. That's it.
  • Use analytics in aggregate to see which recipes people actually spin.

We never sell your information, never share it with data brokers, and never email you third-party offers.

Email and CAN-SPAM

Every email we send includes a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe once and your address is suppressed everywhere. Our mailing address: [physical mailing address — added at launch].

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export, or delete the data we hold about you — which, for almost everyone, is just an email address. California residents have additional CCPA rights (notice at collection — this section — plus deletion and non-discrimination); EEA/UK residents have GDPR rights including erasure and objection. Email any request to hello@creambook.xyz and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Retention and security

Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or the project ends, stored in a private database (Neon Postgres) behind server-only access. No credentials ever reach the browser.

Children

Creambook is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we'll delete it.
